Police are investigating a shooting early Monday morning in San Francisco’s Mission District that killed one person and left another with critical injuries.
Around 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near the corner of 16th and Valencia streets, police said.
Two people suffering from gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital, a male victim and a 55-year-old woman.
The male victim died while the woman suffered critical injuries, according to police. The male victim’s name has not been released.
No arrests have been made and a description of the suspect or suspects was not immediately available.
