A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital after crashing in Brentwood on Monday afternoon, according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District.

A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital after crashing in Brentwood on Monday afternoon, according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
The crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. in the 3200 block of Walnut Boulevard.
The victim suffered major injuries in the crash and was taken by helicopter to the hospital. An update on the motorcyclist’s condition was not immediately released by the fire district.
No one else was injured in the crash, which is under investigation by Brentwood police, fire officials said.
