A Muni train derailed on Friday morning at Castro Station, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency tweeted out at 7:15 a.m.
ATTN: Subway is blocked at Castro due to train issue. Providing shuttles from West Portal to Church Station. Will update.

Bus shuttles are providing support between West Portal and Church stations, according to the transit agency.
The derailment is not affecting service on the J-Church and N-Judah.
Another tweet went out saying that the delay may possibly last through the rush hour commute.
