A San Francisco Municipal Railway train made contact with a vehicle in the Sunset Thursday morning, injuring one person in the vehicle and causing delays on the N-Judah line, Muni officials said.
The collision occurred around 8:10 a.m. in the area of Judah Street and 18th Avenue.
Details about the nature of the collision and the severity of the victim’s injuries were not immediately available.
The N-Judah light-rail service was blocked in both directions, so bus shuttles took passengers around the area and N-Judah trains turned around before arriving at the crash scene.
Muni officials said the scene cleared and regular service was resuming as of shortly before 9:30 a.m.
