Bodega Avenue between Howard and Upham streets was open as of 8:56 p.m.
Police initially said the road would be closed until Thursday morning and later said it would probably be open around 11 p.m. today.
Someone called police at 4:33 p.m. to report a crash at 1 Bodega Avenue where a vehicle hit a power pole.
Some danger existed because of some downed wires, police Sgt. Rick Cox said.
A person was taken to a hospital following the crash. No one suffered major injuries, Cox said.
