The Oakland Athletics announced a new Season Ticket Membership Program Monday.
The program introduces membership levels, with benefits differing at each level.
Membership, in addition to the benefits included with core season ticket packages, will offer concession discounts, increases flexibility and access to exclusive experiences and events as well as the removal of game restrictions on ticket exchanges.
According to a press release put out by the team, the new experiences will include player meet and greets, on-field batting practice, movie nights, chalk talks and an inning in the A’s radio broadcast booth as well as access to the A’s 50th anniversary party — celebrating 50 years of Athletics baseball in Oakland.
Members will also be able exchange game tickets, not only for any future game but also up to two hours prior to first pitch. Members will also be able to enter the stadium 30 minutes before normal gate opening time. And some membership levels will come with discounts on concessions.
Long-tenured season ticket holders will be rewarded with members having purchased season tickets for 10 or more continuous years an automatic one level increase.
