At 2:05 a.m., police received a ShotSpotter alert of gunshots in the 700 block of Elkington Ave.
At the scene, officers located the victim inside a home and he was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to a hospital and his injury is not considered life-threatening, police said.
According to police, the man was inside the home when shots come from outside. No suspects or witnesses have been located, and the incident is being investigated as gang-related, police said.
