A bank robber made off with money Saturday afternoon from a Citibank branch in Alameda.

A bank robber made off with money Saturday afternoon from a Citibank branch in Alameda, a police spokesman said.
Police received a call at 1:06 p.m. of the robbery at the Citibank branch at 2420 Santa Clara Avenue, spokesman Lt. Matt McMullen said.
The robber demanded money from several tellers and ran from the bank.
Police responded and searched for the suspect but did not find the person.
No one was injured, McMullen said.
