Experimental plane crashes at airport

An experimental aircraft landed with its landing gear up Sunday at the Petaluma Municipal Airport, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said.

The plane called a Velocity skidded to a stop on its bellyExp on runway 29, spokesman Allen Kenitzer said.

Only the pilot was onboard.
