The waste collection schedule is changing for Thanksgiving in Berkeley, according to city officials.
Garbage and recycling pickups normally scheduled for Thursday will take place Friday instead.
Residents with pickup normally scheduled for Friday should still place their carts on the curb by 7 a.m.
Businesses should continue to put their bins on the curb on their regular service day.
City officials say that collection may occur later in the day than usual on Friday, and in some cases collection may be delayed until the next service day. Missed pickups can be reported Monday by calling 311 or (510) 981-7270.
