A bicyclist died after she was hit by a truck in San Pablo Tuesday morning, according to police.
The woman was riding near the intersection of Giant Road and Parr Boulevard at around 5:40 a.m. when she was hit by the truck, police said.
Medical personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the woman dead.
The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Investigators do not believe the driver was impaired or driving recklessly, police said.
The identity of the bicyclist has not yet been released.
Investigators closed Giant Road for about four hours while they investigated the incident, according to police.
