A man killed in a shooting after a bar fight in San Francisco early Sunday morning has been identified as 26-year-old Alameda resident Joshua Mejia, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Mejia was killed around 2 a.m. after a fight broke out among patrons leaving a bar in the 900 block of Geary Street, according to police.
The dispute had subsided when a suspect allegedly pulled up to the area in a car, got out and fired several shots, police said.
Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene while a second man was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.
