A 10-year-old boy was struck by a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus on Market Street on Sunday evening, according to police.
The collision was reported at 5:01 p.m. at Market and Seventh streets.
The Muni bus was traveling west on Market Street and had a green light when the boy ran north across the street from a Muni platform and was struck by the front of the bus, police said.
EARLIER Muni takes steps to reduce bus crashes.The boy was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
