A fan who fell over a railing from an upper deck of Oracle Arena Sunday after an apparent postgame altercation is being cared for at a nearby hospital, according to a statement issued by arena officials.
The injured man, whose name was not released, fell over a railing and was treated by arena staff and paramedics before being transported to a hospital, the statement said. He was in his 20’s, and an investigation is being conducted by Oakland Police.
The incident occurred following the Warriors’ 93-89 Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. CBS-SF reported the man was in critical but stable condition.
