Officers responded to a restaurant in the 1600 block of Story Road at midnight.
After being stabbed the victim entered the restaurant, where witnesses called police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was described as a man in dark clothing. He fled the scene on foot and has not been identified.
Police said this morning that a motive for the killing had not yet been determined.
