Mario Woods protesters deliver message to Suhr

The voices of dissent sounded loud and clear Wednesday night, as San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr withstood a barrage over the shooting of Mario Woods at a San Francisco Police Commission meeting Wednesday night.

Community members deployed signs and loudly vocalized support for Woods, shot dead by San Francisco police after a confrontation caught on video in which police appeared to outman and outnumber Woods before killing him.

Wednesday night’s meeting was held at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center on Turk Street.
