One dead after Livermore parking lot shooting

One person is dead and another injured in a shooting Saturday evening in Livermore, police said.

Police received multiple 911 calls at 6:05 p.m. of the shooting in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy store at 1500 First St., according to police.

Officers found two people inside a car in the parking lot, police said. The driver died inside the car and a passenger was taken to a hospital, according to police.

Police do not know the present condition of the passenger, police said.

Officers said there may be two male suspects. One may have been a tall, thin black suspect wearing a gray beanie and who may have been the driver, police said. He had a long black gun, according to police.

Officers do not have a description of the other suspect, police said.

The two suspects were driving what police describe as a black 2006 BMW 325i with two red racing stripes on the hood and license plate number 5PLR682, according to police.

The suspects drove out of the parking lot onto Railroad Avenue and California Highway Patrol officers last saw the vehicle in Oakland, police said.

Officers are asking for the public’s help locating the vehicle and they are asking anyone who sees the BMW to call 911, according to police.

Officers said to consider the suspects armed and dangerous.
