The Sonoma County corner’s office has identified a fisherman who was found dead Monday afternoon in the Russian River as 58-year-old Nicolas Rodriguez Ruiz of Geyserville.
Ruiz’s body was found around 3:50 p.m. in water beneath the Geyserville Bridge in unincorporated Sonoma County, Sonoma County sheriff’s Sgt. Cecile Focha said.
An autopsy was conducted today and the cause of death is pending toxicology test results, the coroner’s office said.
