Explosive washes up on Ocean Beach


Explosive ordnance experts detonated an explosive device Thursday after it washed up on a San Francisco beach, police said.

Officers responded at 6:08 p.m. to the intersection of the Great Highway and Sloat Boulevard to assist U.S. Park Police with the incident, according to police.
