A Vacaville man was arrested early this morning after he allegedly broke into a furniture store to throw things around, damage the lighting and punch holes in the walls, according to police.
Around 3:20 a.m. police responding to a burglary alarm in the 300 block of East Monte Vista Avenue found a man in the back of the store bleeding from the head.
After further investigation they discovered that the front door had been forced open, with furniture, electronics and jewelry thrown around and broken. Interior lighting had been damaged and multiple holes had been punched in the wall, according to police.
Damon Reynolds, 33, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and felony vandalism. The damage to the business was estimated at greater than $1,500.
