A man suspected of fatally shooting a 43-year-old woman inside a home in San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood early Saturday morning is in custody with bail set at $5 million, according to the district attorney’s office.
Everick Stephenson, 31, is facing one count of murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a gun in connection with the killing of 43-year-old Lisa Broussard.
The shooting was reported at 5:35 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Apollo Street. Broussard was pronounced dead at the scene, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
Stephenson’s bail was set at $5 million on Wednesday and he is expected to be arraigned Friday morning.
