Deputies responded at 4:41 p.m. to a report of a person being shot at the United Sportsman Gun Club at 4700 Evora Road.
The victim, identified as a 64-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency responders.
The initial investigation into the death determined it was an accident, according to the sheriff’s office.
