One of eight male suspects who carried out an armed home invasion robbery blocks away from San Francisco State University early Tuesday morning was wearing a white clown mask, police said.
San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said that all eight suspects remain at large and that all six victims inside the house at the time of the home invasion robbery were uninjured.
[mappress mapid=”57″ align=”right”]At about 1 a.m. a male victim at a house in the 100 block of Crespi Drive heard a knock on the front door of the residence, according to Esparza.
When he opened the door, eight male intruders pushed past him and entered the house. The intruders were carrying at least one handgun, according to Esparza. Six men between the ages of 19 and 30 were home when the suspects entered, Esparza said.
The suspects told the six victims to lie on the ground, Esparza said. The suspects then stole cellphones, cameras, backpacks, watches, shoes, laptops and other valuables from the victims.
The suspects then fled the area before police arrived at the scene.
Esparza said one suspect was wearing a white clown mask during the robbery. He was described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds. He was also wearing a green sweater at the time.
Another suspect, who was also described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old was wearing a gray scarf around his face, tan boots and a red hooded sweatshirt during the robbery. He was described as standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds, Esparza said.
The other six suspects were only described as black men between 20 and 30 years of age with unknown clothing and no further descriptions.
Esparza said the suspects are not know to the victims and that none of the eight suspects have been arrested.
