A bicyclist was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries tonight after a traffic collision in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, according to police.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Sixth and Folsom streets. Two vehicles collided, subsequently sending one of the vehicles crashing into the bicyclist, according to police.
Further details about the victim’s condition or the circumstances surrounding tonight’s wreck were not immediately available.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Collision Investigation Unit, and anyone with information about how it occurred is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department at (415) 822-8147.
