BART trains are moving again after simultaneous mechanical problems and a search for a bike thief in Oakland stopped trains going to and from Fremont, BART officials said.
Police were holding trains at the Fruitvale and Coliseum stations this morning in an effort to catch the thief, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost said.
There were also several mechanical problems that caused delays, Trost said.
Trains coming from Fremont to Richmond and Daly City were delayed 20 to 30 minutes this morning, according to BART officials.
