Dolores Park trashed by 420 Day tokers

Sure, there’s no piano sitting in the middle of the soccer field, but Dolores Park was awash with trash Sunday morning after hosting thousands of revelers hours earlier for the unofficial “420 Day” pot holiday.

There’s something beautiful about enjoying yourself in our city’s jewel of public parks on a spectacular Spring day.

But there’s something ugly about leaving behind the remains of your pleasure behind for someone else to worry about.

So here’s a tip: Just like we’ve all gotten in the habit of bringing reusable bags with us to the grocery store, how about we start bringing trash bags with us to Dolores Park to bag up and carry away the flotsam of  a delightful day in Dolores.
