Olsen, 24, posted the brief statement to his Google Plus account:
“I’m feeling a lot better, with a long road in front of me. After my freedom of speech was quite literally taken from me, my speech is coming back but I’ve got a lot of work to do with rehab.”
The statement was accompanied by a picture of Olsen with a neck brace and a scar above his left brow. A friend said Olsen suffered a fractured skull and could not speak for days after the incident. Olsen was discharged from the hospital over the weekend.
