Police said Monday they arrested two brothers in connection with the stabbing death of a man last month in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Police arrested Luis Gutierrez, 21, and Javier Gutierrez, 26, both of San Francisco, on Sunday on suspicion of conspiracy and murder.
Police allege the two brothers stabbed Ronnie Goodman, 20, to death on the corner of Capp and 24th streets at 11:49 p.m. on Sept. 9. The incident took place about a block from the 24th Street BART station.
Goodman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died from his wounds, police said. Police released video footage on Thursday from a surveillance camera showing two men running after the stabbing, and received numerous calls from the public, police said.
