A fatal shooting occurred in San Francisco’s Mission District Friday morning, a police spokesman said.
Police responded at 9:18 a.m. to Mission and 15th streets after reports of shots fired in the area, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said. The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, he said.
He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Esparza said the only suspect information was that someone appears to have left the area in a four-door sedan following the shooting. The area was closed Friday morning as police search for evidence.
