Police in San Bruno arrested a student Thursday for allegedly making criminal threats at Capuchino High School.
On Wednesday evening, the San Bruno Police Department received information about a possible threat to the safety of the campus on Magnolia Avenue.
In a statement issued Thursday morning, police said the threat involved a student who made statements about planning to use a firearm to harm several people at the school.
Police said the threats were serious and specific enough to rise to the level of criminal conduct. The student was arrested without incident away from the campus and police simultaneously executed a search warrant at the student’s home.
Police did not locate any weapons in the course of their search and said there is no known ongoing threat to the campus.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100.
