Fremont police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 25-year-old at-risk woman who was last seen Monday morning.
Erin Lai was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday in the area of the 48000 block of Purpleleaf Street off of Warm Springs Boulevard and there are concerns for her safety because of an unspecified mental health issue, according to police.
Lai was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, purple pajama pants and had no shoes, and left her wallet, ID, keys and cellphone at the home where she was staying with her brother, police said. She is described as an Asian woman who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes and police have released a photo of her.
Investigators said she may go to the skate park in Fremont, the Niles area of the city, Mission Peak east of Fremont, or the Great Mall in Milpitas.
