Morgan Hill police on Monday released a photo of a vehicle involved in a shooting that narrowly missed a group of people standing in front of an apartment complex last week and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
The shooting was reported at about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 17000 block of Crest Avenue.
Officers arrived and learn that a vehicle drove north past the apartment complex, then made a U-turn and slowed as it approached several people standing in front of the building, police said.
Someone inside the vehicle fired multiple shots at the group. The bullets missed the people but struck the building and a nearby trash bin, according to police.
The vehicle, described as a dark blue SUV with multiple male suspects inside, then fled south on Crest Avenue.
Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call Detective Kathleen Price at (669) 253-4985 or Detective Ryan Warren at (669) 253-4894.
