A contingent of grassroots organizations will be gathering to lead a peace march on the Golden Gate Bridge on Sunday calling for no war in Iran, according to organizers.
CODEPINK and other organizations will be hosting the rally on Sunday, organizers said. A group will gather in a plaza on the San Francisco side at about 11:45 a.m., before starting a walk to the center of the bridge at noon.
Toby Blome, one of the organizers, said in a statement:
“The large emergency rallies across the country this week have demonstrated to our politicians and military leaders that Americans are tired of endless war.”
The group will return to the plaza at about 1 p.m. for a rally.
