As the Independence Day holiday gets underway, the California Highway Patrol is giving Redwood City motorists a heads-up: The CHP will be finding and removing DUI drivers from the road Friday night.
Additional CHP officers focused on DUI enforcement will be deployed throughout the Redwood City CHP’s jurisdiction between 9 p.m. Friday, July 5, and 4 a.m. Saturday, July 6, the CHP said (sted 9 p.m. Saturday, July 5, and 4 a.m. Sunday, July 6).
The CHP is asking the public to designate a driver or arrange transportation if necessary and not to drink and drive.
