Have you had your car towed in the last two years?
The Alameda County district attorney’s office served a search warrant last Friday at properties connected to Private Property Impound, an Oakland-based towing company.
Officials with the district attorney’s office say the company is currently under investigation, and they’re asking anyone who believes their car may have been improperly towed by Private Property Impound since Jan. 2017 to call Inspector Michael Carter at (510) 383-8600.
When contacted by phone, a worker at Private Property Impound stated that no crimes have been committed, but declined to take a message or discuss the matter further.
