Northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Fremont will be shut down for construction during overnight hours for three nights starting Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The closure will take place from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. each of the three nights for road construction, with a detour set up at the Sheridan Road off-ramp, CHP officials said.
Fremont police said traffic will be detoured to Mission Road and then back onto northbound Highway 680 at Andrade Road.
Drivers should expect delays while traveling through the area, according to the CHP.
