A downed tree struck a BART car Wednesday evening between the Concord and Pleasant Hill stations, causing delays on the system, BART officials said.
The incident happened on the Antioch line, BART officials said on Twitter around 5:50 p.m.
No one was injured and no damage has been found, according to BART.
Ground staff worked to remove the tree, which BART officials described as large.
Because of the incident, BART cars were single tracking between the Pleasant Hill and Concord stations. Passengers experienced delays of up to 20 minutes, BART officials said.
