A Petaluma man was arrested after allegedly violating a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend on Saturday night, according to police.
The suspect, 46-year-old Johnny Antone of Petaluma, was found hiding in the yard of a neighboring yard, police said, after he attempted to flee after officers arrived in the 400 block of Coronado Drive.
The ex-girlfriend reported that Antone was allegedly outside her home around 8:14 p.m. Saturday banging on exterior walls, yelling for her and attempting to gain entry into her garage. The victim believed Antone would attack her after she confronted him in the garage.
As officers arrived, police said, Antone was seen by officers jumping over a fence into the victim’s backyard, eventually fleeing through backyards before being taken into custody without incident.
Antone has been booked into Sonoma County Jail.
