Amazon is opening a new “Amazon 4-Star” store Monday in west Berkeley, according to company officials.
The store, located at 1787 Fourth Street in Berkeley, sells products from Amazon.com that are ranked by customers as being at least a 4-star item, are top sellers or is new and trending, company officials said.
It is the third such store in the United States to open, with one location in New York City and another in Lone Tree, Colo., which is in the Denver suburbs.
The store is one of 100 other Amazon stores in the United States.
The Berkeley store is scheduled to open for its grand opening today at 10 a.m. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
