A man who died Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood has been identified by The City’s medical examiner’s office as Jonathan Jones.
Jones, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred around 7 a.m. in the 700 block of Greenwich Street, police said.
Jones did not have a confirmed city of residence, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The driver involved in the fatal collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
