Officers who heard gunshots in the 1400 block of 89th Avenue at 14th Street in Oakland at 9:33 p.m. Monday found the man and woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to police.
Paramedics provided medical attention to the two victims but they were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The victims’ names are being withheld pending notification to their next of kin of the deaths.
