The Solano County coroner’s office has identified two women who were killed in a single vehicle crash into a traffic light pole in Vallejo early this morning as Santaleighsa Gonzalez, 26, the driver, and Priscilla Rosario, 24.
The two women, both Vallejo residents, died at the scene of the crash that occurred around 1:55 a.m. at Sonoma Boulevard and Solano Avenue.
A 20-year-old Vallejo man and a 23-year-old Vallejo woman who were sitting in the back seat suffered injuries that are not life-threatening and were taken to a hospital, Vallejo police said.
All four occupants of the 2001 Honda Civic had been drinking alcohol at various local bars before the crash, Lt. Michael Nichelini said.
The vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed before the crash, Nichelini said.
