SFBay Director of Photography Scot Tucker captured a small group of playful dolphins frolicking around Seal Rock at the north end of Ocean Beach on a clear and lovely Wednesday afternoon. The dolphins even buzzed behind a few surfers, who paused to catch a rare glimpse of the majestic ocean mammals.
We’re calling on SFBay’s team of biologists and zoologists to help us identify these fins.
Common dolphin? Risso’s? Porpoise, even? We’re not sure if we’ve got enough here to make the call, but thought we’d throw it out there.
