An adult was rescued in serious condition during a second alarm fire Friday morning on the edge of San Francisco’s Financial District, fire officials said.
The fire in a two-story commercial building was reported 7:47 a.m. at 1199 Stockton St.
Fire officials are asking people to avoid the area near the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Stockton Street because of the fire.
The officials are also asking people to close their windows to avoid smoke from the fire.
No firefighters have been injured. No evacuations have been initiated.
