Vallejo police arrested a Fairfield man early Monday morning for a homicide last year, a police lieutenant said.
Fairfield police responded to a domestic disturbance around 3:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Bickford Circle in Fairfield, Vallejo police Lt. Herman Robinson said.
Fairfield police called Vallejo police after determining that an occupant of the residence, Johnnie Daniels III, 44, of Fairfield, was wanted on a no bail warrant for the murder of 35-year-old Vallejo resident John Taylor on Oct. 20, 2015, Robinson said.
Taylor’s body was found in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Vallejo around 8:50 p.m. that day.
Daniels was questioned by Vallejo police detectives, then arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on the murder warrant, Robinson said.
