At 6:11 a.m., a magnitude-2.4 earthquake occurred less than four miles west-northwest of Broadmoor, in unincorporated San Mateo County.
Less than three minutes later, a magnitude-1.4 earthquake took place nearby, 3.7 miles west-northwest of Daly City.
