A San Francisco man died in a shooting early Saturday morning in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded at 12:20 a.m. to the 1700 block of Oakdale Avenue where they found the victim, a 19-year-old man, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police Capt. Raj Vaswani said.
Officers started CPR before paramedics took over, but the man died, Vaswani said.
Officers are working on all leads, collecting evidence and are encouraging anyone with information to call the homicide unit, the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to police.
