A woman hospitalized for months after suffering burns in an arson fire in Vallejo that killed a 5-year-old child has also succumbed to her injuries, police said Thursday.
The fatal fire was reported at 9:54 a.m. May 22 in the 800 block of Stella Street. A 5-year-old child was found dead inside.
The child’s mother, Lametricias Seilflood, was severely burned.
She died Wednesday at a Sacramento hospital where she was being treated.
Seilflood was 45.
Police have alleged that Darrylone Shuemake, 53, set the fire intentionally. He was arrested on suspicion of murder May 25 in Richmond.
