After receiving a report of an armed robbery, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 39989 Farwell Drive, according to police.
The caller told police two masked men had entered the store just a few minutes earlier. One of the men pointed a handgun at an employee and took cash, as well as cigarettes, police said.
Additionally, witnesses told police the robbers fled the store in a silver sedan that was last seen heading toward Interstate Highway 880, according to police.
The robbers were described as two men who wore masks and gloves.
