Police are hunting for a suspect who fired a gun during a domestic disturbance at a Pleasanton apartment complex this morning.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Park Hacienda apartment complex at 5650 Owens Drive at about 8:20 a.m., police said.
No one was injured in the shooting, but police thought the suspect, identified as Lester Hall, might still be in the area. They issued a shelter in place for the surrounding area.
As of shortly after 10 a.m., police concluded that Hall was no longer in the immediate area and lifted the order. They are continuing to search for Hall, who they consider armed and dangerous.
Hall is described as a white man who stands about 6 feet tall, weighs more than 300 pounds and is balding. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, pants and tennis shoes and is known to visit San Francisco and rides BART, police said.
Anyone who sees Hall has been asked to call 911.
